And so the first term of Uni comes to an end. Time for resting, relaxing, playing around, more resting, and a trip to Brisbane! A nice, five-day vacation. It's the first time I've been on a plane. Should be interesting.

Work in Progress: Beastie
Today, I'm presenting a work in progress. In an earlier post, I presented a piece of concept art for a creature I nicknamed 'Beastie'. This work shows Beastie in a high-resolution 3D model.
There's still a fair bit of work to be done on him, but the detail is starting to come in. Still need to a

Final Draft: Overseer's Chamber
Today, I'm presenting an example of my work in 3D Modelling. For this assignment, we were tasked with designing a room and building it in 3D. I chose to develop a scientific setting, with the centerpiece of a huge eyeball called the Overseer. Here's the finished work:
The concept was that the Overseer is tasked with inspecting samples of a mysterious fluid produced in the factory. I also added the theme of gears working in the background, as the row of cogs along the wall shows. There's some room for improvement, notably the Overseer's 'pod', but overall I'm happy with how it all turned out.
